Is it a bee?

We need a word for the part of your steering column that starts making a buzzing sound at 35 miles per hour. This part wasn't on your car when it was new, someone broke into your car when it rolled over 80,000 miles and installed this little rattling spring. You've never seen this piece and no matter what part you push on, the buzzing noise is always faintly there. Not at 15 mph nor at 65, but right there at 35 mph.
